Behnam (Nami) Entezam is the Chief Operating Officer & Founding Partner at ACE. He is a licensed Professional Engineer with over 30 years of experience in engineering design & management. Throughout his career, Nami has been involved in the MEP design of more than 120,000 apartment units across a wide variety of building types.

His portfolio includes commercial buildings, high-rise and mid-rise mixed-use developments, hospitality projects, low-income housing, & modular construction. On the commercial side, he has contributed to the design of restaurants, major grocery stores, & shopping centers. Leveraging his deep expertise in software & simulation, Nami has applied advanced CFD modeling to optimize HVAC performance, heating, cooling, & ventilation systems. He has also led complex multidisciplinary design & development projects, & taught post-graduate courses at colleges and universities.

 

Nami holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Utah & a Master’s in System Design and Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
